About the KDSC Accelerator Programme

The KDSC Accelerator Programme is an exciting opportunity for seed and growth-stage startups in Kuwait to gain the tools, knowledge, and network to scale both regionally and internationally.

The KDSC Accelerator is designed to build participants’ resilience and adaptability, strengthening the mindset and capabilities they need to navigate uncertainty, respond to challenges, seize opportunities, and grow as founders and leaders. The entrepreneurs graduating from our programmes are equipped to build scalable businesses, but also develop transferable skills needed to handle the pressures, setbacks, and pivots that they will encounter across their lives and careers. Investing in founder resilience today is an investment in the long-term strength of Kuwait’s workforce and economy.

Delivered by serial entrepreneurs, investors, and a team experienced in delivering leading startup accelerator programmes and scaling startups across the globe, the KDSC Accelerator will help to develop Kuwait’s next generation of high-growth and high-impact technology businesses.

The programme consists of three distinct and transformative phases:

Phase I: Kick-off and Bootcamp (Weeks 1-2)

Intensive, in-person, bootcamp offering participants a carefully curated curriculum designed to elevate their skills, businesses, and teams. Through interactive sessions led by industry experts, participants will master core entrepreneurial disciplines, including strategy, marketing, and financial management. The programme also provides personalised, one-on-one mentoring, enabling participants to refine their business ideas, develop actionable strategies, and position their ventures for long-term success.

Dates: 13th – 27th September
Time: Evenings (17:30-20:30)
Location: TBC, Kuwait

Phase II: Guided Development & Regional Networking Trip (Weeks 3–9)

Phase 2 focuses on helping startups scale traction and become investment-ready through weekly check-ins, masterclasses, office hours, and targeted support across growth, finance, legal, and fundraising topics. By the end, founders are expected to achieve measurable progress (e.g., users, revenue, partnerships) and be prepared to raise capital or expand regionally.

Programme participants will also be invited on a networking trip to immerse themselves in the regional entrepreneurial ecosystem and connect with industry-leading mentors and networking opportunities.

Dates: November (TBC)
Location: Regional (TBC)

Phase III: Programme Finalisation and Demo Day (Week 10)

Phase 3 is an investment bootcamp designed to refine founders’ investor narratives, strengthen credibility, and prepare them for scrutiny through storytelling, Q&A practice, and due diligence readiness. It culminates in a Demo Day and pitch competition (13th of December 2026) in Kuwait, enabling startups to pitch to VCs, angels, corporates, and government stakeholders while building connections across the regional ecosystem.

Dates: December 2026
Location: TBC, Kuwait

Who is the KDSC Accelerator for?

The KDSC Accelerator is for Kuwaiti tech-enabled startups that are beyond idea stage and already showing real market traction. It is aimed at companies in the seed to Series A stage that want to scale within Kuwait, across the GCC, and potentially internationally.

Do I need to be a Kuwaiti national to apply?

Yes. The programme is open to Kuwaiti nationals, and applicant businesses must be based and registered in Kuwait. Applicants must also be aged 18-35 as of the programme start date.

Does my company need to be registered in Kuwait?

Yes. To be eligible, the business must be based and registered in Kuwait and able to participate fully in the in-person programme.

What stage does my startup need to be at?

Your startup should be beyond the idea stage. That means your product or service should already be live in the market, or at least being piloted, and you should be able to show some traction. The programme is designed for companies at Seed to Series A stage.

Is the programme in person or online?

The programme is intended to be delivered primarily in person. Phase I is an in-person bootcamp in Kuwait, Phase II includes guided development support and a regional networking trip, while Phase III concludes with an in-person investment bootcamp and Demo Day in Kuwait. However, given the regional situation, the programme delivery schedule may be subject to change. Applicants must be able to attend the full duration of the programme.

Do I need to speak English?

Yes. The programme will be delivered in English, so applicants should be comfortable in written and spoken English.

Is there any cost to participate?

It is free of charge to participate in the programme. The regional networking trip will include an expenses stipend to cover participants’ travel and accommodation costs.
