About the KDSC Investor Programme

The KDSC Investor Programme aims to grow and strengthen Kuwait’s investment community. Through the programme, the KDSC supports existing and prospective investors in Kuwait, by developing their skills, knowledge, and networks.

The programme is primarily delivered virtually to fit around participants’ existing commitments, but is supplemented by regular in-person events that connect programme participants to the KDSC startup community and wider innovation ecosystem across the GCC.

While applications to our investor development programme are now closed for this year, we are always looking to welcome new investors to join our community.

The KDSC Investor Programme provides Kuwaiti investors with structured and targeted support to become confident and effective backers of startups in the country and wider region. The programme does this with:

Practical Training

Workshops and short courses focused on the fundamentals of startup investing — from understanding startup business models to evaluating risk and spotting high-potential founders.

Expert-Led Sessions

Access to experienced investors and fund managers who share real-world insights and lessons through talks, panels, and Q&A sessions.

Investor Events & Networks

In partnership with GITEX, KDSC Investor Programme participants received tickets to the 2025 edition of the world’s largest tech, AI and startup show hosted in the UAE. Investor Programme participants also have many other opportunities to connect with startup investors, both locally and internationally, to network, co-invest, and learn from each other.

Real-World Engagement

Sessions linked to active startup programmes, giving investors hands-on experience in assessing pitch decks, asking the right questions, and joining demo days or live pitch events.
